Disneyland Tokyo
Decided to stay in Tokyo because I had never been to Disneyland, not in LA, Paris or Hong Kong so thought Tokyo it is. Got up early & went with my Israel friend as she wanted to go aswell, I was soo tired as never got a decent sleep last night as there was lots of people coming & going & snoring, how I wish to have 8 hours of undistrubed sleep! Anyway, Disneyland was great had the choice of Land or Sea but too cold to get splashed!
As it was my 1st time I was like a big kid at Xmas with a huge chessy grin most of the day, went to Toon Town, Critters, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, the lot & done almost all the rides though they weren`t as fast or as big as I had hoped. Really its more for kids but to build must have cost billions as there is so much there or it is immaculate, so colourful, the guys a genius. One problems was everything was in Japanese all the instructions & the shows though that didn`t make many problems. I would have liked to have watch the fireworks at the end of the evening but I was shattered & cold! Another funny thing was I didn`t spot any other westerner there which I thought a little preculiar though was rather refreshing!
Yesterday, I went to a few of the suburbs with ???????? the girl from Israel, we went to Ginza, Shinuku & Roppongi. I even had Sushi, though too be honest I wasn`t that struck with it! I had prawns, salmon & scallops though I still prefer my cooked, the chef tried to get me to eat the shrimps with there heads on, no way! After that I went to MacDonalds & had 2 burgers.
Tomorrow, I am going to have a laundry day & just chill around the hostel. I am quite happy now I feel that I have done what I wanted in Tokyo, so bring on Vietnam!
