Worked all day we'd on the skis, waxing and getting them ready. 8.30 til 5. Got up Thursday went to work for an hour. Bad weather on the mountain. Went to the library and spoke to the local police man to see if he would give me a lift to Twizel. Got picked up at 6, meeting at 7. About 20 guys. So I'm now a member of the emergency winter response team. Got free beer and food paid for by the police. Great stuff. Got dropped home by the police. 100 k drive. We nearly caught a guy doing 120 kph but Russell hit the wrong button. Next day got up ready to hitch hike
