Arrive Christchurch, leaving Fairlie behind I stood beside the sign for Christchurch , I would say an hour passed before a wicked guy picked me up, jandels on, on route to a funeral. Which reminds me need to add his company, snowdrifta ( with the A ) company added and it's 2 days later. Dropped off on the out skirts of Gerelden I walked in to the tourist information to find out where robs cafe was. Just down the street ( you may remember him from the first hitch hike last Sunday or so. Got some free food but I bought some anyway, chilled out with them and walked down the road. Got a lift with a local mini bus out to highway one, stood about there and got a lift with a prostitute, no joke, at least 40 with a metal hip ( she told me ) to be honest you would not touch her if you had a robots arm controlled from 67 miles away. The whole way smoking away. Just on the way back from her sons count date. Got 5 years for hi jacking and beating a guy. For all these bad points she still give me a lift. Got dropped off on the out skirts of Christchurch. Called Paul he said he would be 5 mins but get a coffee. Classic mcculla. If your actually going to be 5 mins why would I get a 100 degree cup of coffee? Got picked up, went to see Jane at her design studio to swop cars. Then picked up lauren and had a look round the destroyed city. It's like closing off Belfast from the central train station to the royal hospital. Inside the red zone just empty
Back to Paul's house, check out the student army on Facebook . Went out for a drink with Sophie and lauren then back home. Up at 7 and was at the volunteering place for 8. Went out with a team of 10, cleared some old guys back garden. Chilled out that night. Had a few beers and watched the rugby. Sunday was up early at drove down in the suburu to find it was rained off. Monday I went again, this time I was team leader. Got orange vest. Nice. Set off with 5 girls and 5 guys. Found 2 houses split them into teams keeping the hottest girl in my team. Has a plate of pan cakes for lunch. Took down her number off my log in sheet. Don't think that's what it's for but was perfect for getting all the girls numbers. Sent a text but it can back saying sorry wrong number. Will need to review. After that picked up by Paul. Next day it was off.
