Namaste / Very nice to see you again!

Well, as you will have seen from some of the photos, we have now caught up with all our relllos (two of whom we've never met before!) and had a great time with them. Photos to follow.

Despite the weather being extremely wet and lots of places flooded we managed to get a half day tour of Chennai in this morning - more temples and markets! Also and despite the rain, the whole of Chennai was out celehrating Diwali with a million ultra loud fireworks - HSE in the UK would have a field day!

This afternoon and tomorrow morning we chill and brace ourselves for the forecasted monsons in Madurai and the Southern part of India (India BBC World Service - pack-a-macks are packed!!).

Looking forward to our (8 hour train journey) to Madurai, where, theoretically, we are expecting to do a jungle walk and river rafting. probably end up river rafting through the jungle given all the rain! Will send photos if we can get some WIFI.
