baaaaaaaaaaaaa we arrived in New Zealand on Monday night, and found our keys stuck on the side of the fridge and our sheets by the boiler (v.friendly these kiwi's). we spent the next day exploring christchurch, it has lots of british influences e.g a river avon!! Then we picked up of camper, its a proper campervan as the people at the company told us it'd be too chilly to take one with a roof tent, so we've got the Big Burd (Registration no. BUR791), she's slow but there's so much amazing scenery, we dont really want to go to fast!! we stayed our first night in a carpark at Lake Tekapo and woke to find the view of the bright turquoise lake....pretty stunning. since then we've drove down past more mountains, sheep, lakes, sheep, these crazily huge field watering things and more sheep all the way to Queenstown. It looks a bit like an european alpine town, tomorrow we're gonna explore a bit and plan our trip to the Milford Sound. lots of baaaaaaa dave and pen
