So I seem to notice when I am in Spain I somehow spend way to much time in Irish pubs. There is always a friendly rivalry that goes on there…You become friends by default just depending on what shirt you are wearing on your back, or perhaps you are scarred to walk home.We met people from all over in the bar and because it is an Irish pub it is almost expected for you to speak English.
So we go to watch the game and end up meeting people from Florida and a couple from France and some others who then invite us out with them. There is this socializing that goes on when you are in Europe where if you meet people they become your "new friends".This doesn't happen normally in the states. If you meet a person here and go out all night drinking and can't make it home, they will tell you to you are more than welcome to sleep on their couch. In the states if you get to drunk and can't make it home, they might just put you in a cab and send you on your way…
I have also noticed something about being in clubs in Spain where the Americans more or less go to what they feel is comfortable to them.To me if I am in a different place or country I am not going to go to a place like the places I can go to back at home..That is kind of the point of going somewhere new is to explore. Most people tend to think when they go to a place that they have seen in a movie they are going to have the experiences they saw in the movies. The truth is you have to make your own experiences and create your own movie.
