Ok so i'm back in Bangkok now so i'm going to try and update you all on what I've been up to (hopefully with fewer spelling mistakes etc then my last blogs :) haha)! We arrived in Khao Sok National Park on Monday the 8th where we were going to spend a couple of days. The rainforest had some quality views, the picture that i used above is the view outside of our apartment, and its actually older then the amazon so it was pretty kool! At times i thought i was in Jurasic Park just watching for a giant dinosaur to stagger out the bushes - fortunately the closest we got to that was a massive lizard! That afternoon a few of us went tubbing down the river. The water wasn't that deep so it was a bit of a struggle at times but it was still a proper good laugh! When we first got in there were hundreds of fish so the tour blokes gave me an Tom a bag of food each which we threw at the girls so the fish started splashing around them - you should of heard them screaming it was hilarious! We were tubbing for about two hours before we headed off to feed the monkeys! This was really good, they ran up to you an held your hand while you were feeding them. A few of the group have got some really good pictures which i'll put up when i get them off them. We then headed to an absolutely superb viewpoint for a quick kodak moment before heading back to get changed an get some food! That night we went to an italian an all had some good old authentic thai food - PIZZA!!! We all stuffed our faces then headed next door to a Regae bar called Jumanji where it struck me how sureal things were - i'd just ate pizza at an Italian an was now in a bar listening to Bob Marley in the middle of the jungle, definately not your normal night out!!!
The second day we could of done several activities such as elephant riding, treking etc but as quiet a few of us had already done these we just had a bit of a chill out day! In the afternoon Shelley, Erika and I headed into the national park to the waterfalls which werrn't that great - mind you when you've been to Erawen Falls everything else is going to be pretty poor in comparision! We must of walked about 7km in total - i'm getting pretty good at this walking lark lol! That night we just chilled out and had a few drinks as we had to be up early to head to Ko Samui and the beach :)
