We woke up early in the morning and headed for Kanchanaburi War Cemetary before heading to Erawen Falls! The war cemetry was unbelievable it was so well kept an clean, they must of had atleast 10 people going round cutting the grass and just making sure the place was tidy.
After a quick visit we made our way to Erawen falls, which was absolutely amazing, the photos (when i eventually get to upload them) really don't do the place any justice at all! There were also plenty of crazy monkeys who tried to snatch anything they could off you!! There are 7 waterfalls there in total so we started to make our way up until we reached the fourth which was kind of like a slide into the pool at the bottom so we all thought we'd jump in! First of all we thought we'd be sensible going down but then it started to get a little crazy an we were sliding down in massive chains and holding on to each others feet etc! Simons got a video of it on his camera so hopefully i'll be able to upload it soon! After we finished a few of us decided to take the trek up to the top waterfall which was completetly nakering, but definately well worth as the view was superb! We ended up leaving a little late so we missed the chance to go on the death railway which prompted a nice winge from Karie (shes been just going off an doing her own thing the whole time since then, don't have a clue why she's on a group tour!!!) Simon was a bit down about it so we thought we'd have a few drinks on the river,, which prompted the 1st introduction to sang som, a pretty strong thai rum! Several bottles later we'd actually drank the hotel dry so me and Jacob headed off to the shop to get some more!! On the way back from the shop we ended up talking to some Isralies and ended up walking about 15 mintues past our hotel!! We only actually realised we'd gone past it when we come to the end of the road and ended up at the river kwai bridge, if that bridge wasn't there who knows where we would of ended up lol!!
