First of all...Thank you so much to Henry and Rebecca for putting us up last night and for the delicious dinner and wine and car in the morning. We had a great time!
Sorry we did not blog yesterday; we just didn't get around to it. :) We woke up from our hostel yesterday and jumped on the underground to Victoria Station. From there (since the lines we were expecting to take were closed) we walked to Rebecca and Henry's place (which is very nice by the way!). Rebecca was waiting for us and we were showed to our room. After some much needed showers we headed out to walk around the area. We hadn't seen English speaking movies or television in a long time so we decided to go see a movie (it was nice since the theater was only a few blocks away). Before the movie started (The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian) we grabbed a small snack to hold us over until dinner. The movie was actually pretty good.
After the movie we headed back to the house where were kindly invited to dinner. Before dinner though, we had a few glasses of champagne and chatted a bit with Rebecca and Henry. After a short while dinner was ready...Spaghetti Bolognese!!! It was absolutely fantastic! Following dinner and some tasty ice cream, we headed to bed.
This morning we woke up, and Henry and Rebecca had arranged to have a car take us to the train station across town so we could get to the airport. It was very kind of them and we much appreciated not having to walk to the train station. We made it to Stansted Airport with plenty of time to spare and took our time getting to the gate. The flight to Dublin lasted about an hour. We had to then take a bus 40 minutes into the city center, it wasn't a bad trip at all though. We found our way to our hostel where we would be staying for the next 4 nights. It's pretty nice so far. We are going to take a quick power nap before we head out into the city and explore...we have a feeling it could be a long night...but who knows!
We will probably not blog again tonight...but we might, there is no telling!!! Everyone have a great day, and thank you again to Rebecca and Henry!
"B" don't worry, we'll have more than one for ya!
