Danny, weather looks good for u this weekend w/ only a 10 & 20% chance of rain for u. WE ,on the other hand, have 60% for 2 days & 40% the other. So we'll compare notes on our beach trips. Bet u see more topless than me. Laura, if u go topless only take pics from the back shot over the shoulder. lol (am I good with this computer thing or what?) Ya'll have fun & give Danny H. a big kiss for me. Oh and Laura give my Danny a big kiss for me too. I miss u little boy. MOM

Danny & Laura, your trip looks like such terrific fun!! I envy your broad travels. Do you notice much difference between Eastern & Western Europeans? It's been so many ears since I've been in Europe - right after the Wall came down - when there was a distinct difference, and I was curious as to whether or not it remains today? You both look really tired after all your busy activities and experiences, but happy to be there. Take care and return home safely.

Danny, your mom called me last week and gave me your website so I could see what you're doing this summer. Wow!!! What a fabulous experience this is for you! I wish I were there with you to see it all. Isn't Switzerland beautiful? I'd love to go there and to Greece as well. I'm enjoying your pictures and seeing everything you've done. I cann't believe you went parasailing in that terrain. You've got guts, boy. I hope this finds you well and happy. Your schedule must be very hectic with all the class time you spend each day and then preparing for class, but this is an experience you will never forget. Enjoy it to the max and know that my thoughts are with you!!
Miss Bonnie
Laura, it was fun to read about Interlaken from your eyes as my friend Tami put it. Danny had told us alot on Tues. I know it was a fun filled weekend. The parasailing looked great U definately stay up longer on the parasail vs. the hang glider and since u r sitting it is better than laying in a sling and holding your legs up . my guy wrapped his legs around mine so I was good but jeff had a little pilot so he was on his own for his legs at the end. I wasn't too disappointed that Danny couldn't jump--that could have been too thrilling . And Laura u are supposed to be there on the stupid stuff to pick up the pieces for me and call me. I guess I didn't fill u in on all the girlfriend duties. By the time u read this u will be back from your beer fest. so I hope it was great and I hope ya'll aced your tests last week. Aren't ya'll taking 1 class together. I feel I have failed as a good mom cause Danny left and I never asked him what he was taking only how many hours. Ya'll be good . We're going to the lake with Mark Natalie and the kids this weekend after Kenny Rogers concert today. U know how I love country music. HA!
Laura
Got the Switzerland blog posted, finally...figured I should get that up there before our "thrilling" weekend ahead in Bratislava! Haha, something for y'all to look forward to!
Mom
Danny, after talking to u last night, U need to focus on your classes and let the pics slide cause I had no idea u were taking EMag and Thermo. Are u crazy? But I guess its too late now so don't spend time on your journal when u need to study cause u don't have your big brother or any bros to help. I'm sure you"ll do great, or maybe there will be a big curve. A 4.0 is not necessary, but a C is. OK OK enough of a lecture. Love u and it was great to talk to u Laura. Study hard and wind down at your beer fest.

Laura and Danny,
The pictures are wonderful. Looks like you had a great time in Switzerland. As much as you doing tis summer, this journal will be great for you when you get back so you'll be able to remember it all. I would imagine at the pace you are going it gets a bit tiring. I hope you are enjoying it. Judging from the picture you are!! Good luck with your classes.
Love, Mom Kit

Great pics from Interlaken! But were u paragliding solo? Cause it sure looked like it. Will U ever need summer clothes in Europe? I know it's the Alps, but... I wish the weather would give ya'll a break and u could have blue skies only. Can't wait to talk to u in less than an hou. Lot of love, MOM
Laura
We had a FANTASTIC weekend in Switzerland. I posted the pictures but haven't had a chance to label them or put them in order yet so...wait until tonight and hopefully they will all be in order, labeled and I'll have the blog written (might be ambitious but...I'm gonna try). Just giving y'all an update.

Danny, isn't it great learning history this way!! Stay healthy do u need vitamins or airborne? Budapest pics were fantastic of the parliament inside cause we didn"t see the inside of it and Opera House too- we didn't see it at all. It is such a sad history these people have had. It makes u soooo thankful to be an American. Laura, we had the same problem not with peanutbutter but wine in France. We were not thinking and packed it in our carry on so it wouldn't break-well we went back to check in and checked the bag. The wine made it home. I ran into that again cause Spain is famous for their olive oil so I bought it in the airport after customs and put it in the carry on and going through customs in atlanta we had to check the carry on for it to go through Atl. customs. I hope all of this stuff is totally necessary cause it sure is a pain at the airports. I'm so proud of u 3 capitals of 3 countries in 1 day. I've only done 2. Laura I want to talk to u too so tell me when a good time is. This sced or scat or whatever it's called is great. Ya'll study hard . Lots of love, Mom

Hi Danny & Laura, Just enjoyed looking at Budapest thruough your eyes . It was wonderful, I am so happy yall are taking advantage ofall the things you can do.Never let it be said that you could have done more. Remember to write some impressions down to see how you change in 40 yrs. and prices are fun too. When you go back when you're 50 it's amazing how the city has stayed the same and you have changed. It is wonderful to share it with someone, also. So remember to enjoy each other. Ha Ha like you have to be told that. Enjoyed your mmom tutoring me on the computer, imagine that. I've followed you in my thoughts and prayers and as always it's a pleasure. bon voyage and bonne courage. love ms. tami

Miss Bonnie,
I don't know how I missed your last post, but I just read it today...everything so far has been amazing, but I have to admit this lifestyle is quite tiring! I liked Madrid too so I can understand how you enjoyed it...My mom said you mentioned Nick could bring us some peanut butter?! haha...we had quite the peanut butter fiasco last weekend, so that would be greatly appreciated! I am not really sure what else I need...I originally wished I brought another pair of jeans but we are hearing horror stories about how hot it will be getting and we do not have air conditioning in the school building so I am thinking I will not need them come July. Maybe a T-shirt or 2 though...I miss just lounging around in those - I brought too many dresses! Thanks for looking out for us! Glad you enjoyed your trip! Hopefully we'll get those blogs from the long weekend posted soon, although I'm impressed Danny even got the pictures up with how much work we have on this short week!
