We drove back to Sydney for the second time. It took us a liitle more effort getting to where we were going and after an unscheduled journey across the harbour bridge we made it to my friend and Diving buddy, Mark's house.
The following day we took Rosie back to Travellers auto barn. It was an emotional fairwell as the old girl had done us amazingly proudly. So, after 11 025 km which is 6850 miles the road trip was over. It was truly epic and it was full of excitement and adventure. There were moments of terrible fear, fun, tiredness, boredom, shock, happiness and well just about every emotion there is at one point or another but especially, more than any other, love.
Taking Rosie back was the end of one of the main parts of our adventure but there was still fun to be had!
Once we had the money back for Rosie we went and booked tickets to climb the harbour bridge. In the evening we went to the Imax to watch deep sea 3D which reminded me so much of Diving. The screen was huge and we were really glad we did it.
We did the bridge climb on the 28th which was our 2 year anniversary. It's been an amazing 2 years. This time last year we were on the London eye and now we were going up the harbour bridge. The views were awesome and it was an experience I would highly recommend.
And so our time in Australia has come to an end. We will catch our flight later this evening and we will be in Hong Kong and on our way home.
