What a day we had today!
We started off taking a walk through 'old' HK, where we saw (and smelt!!!) everything from sharks' fins on sale, to birds' nests available for soup making, to live bullfrogs having their heads chopped off!
Halfway through the walk, we stumbled across 'Man Mo Temple' and some "cult" like activity (see videos). It was one of the weirdest things we have seen in China and that is saying a lot!
We then went for lunch at the famous 'Luk Yu Teahouse' and had tea and Dim Sum which was lovely.
We then went up to Victoria Peak and looked over the amazing city. It was an incredible view, but the iPod couldn't really capture anything so we have no photos to share. As we went when it was dark, even our proper camera was struggling to take pics which really did the scene justice (we needed your cameras, Tony and Haydn!).
On Sunday we are going to try to go to a Michelen starred restaurant for lunch (Michelen Chinese food!?!?), although we have no reservation so we may not get in. We are then getting on the star ferry to cross over to Kowloon where we will look back at HK island to watch the sun set for one final time over Hong Kong.
If we don't have time to blog again before we leave, we will blog again when we are back in England.
Love to you all,
D&S x
