I had hoped to climb Mt Warning after the Canadians we met in Port Macquarie had recommended the climb to us.Unfortunately the day was wet so we decided to head to the camp spot and then climb the mountain the next day. As we set up camp in the Mebbin National Park the rain set in.After a couple of hours I suggested we pack up and head to the coast. It was agreed and we arrived in Kingscliff late on Monday. Drove here via Byron Bay. The traffic into Byron Bay was incredible it was banked up for about a km. Lucky for us the traffic jam was in the opposite direction. They were hanging around just metres from our camper. We had planned to go for a long walk along the beach the next morning but we met a fellow camper who had some expensive eskies stolen during the day. So instead we decided to move on early in the morning. Kylie got a bit scared that night when we saw a car driving around the campsite. I think they were only collecting firewood.
