Sorry it has been a while with out updating the site i have no excuse Dan and i have been in sydney for about 10 weeks and there are internet cafes everywhere so sorry!
Dan and i really liked sydney and it was nice spending so long there as you really got to know your way around. To be honest we didn't do anything really exciting of couse we saw the harber bridge, the oprah house ect. My Mum and Dad came out for two weeks which was great was really nice to see them and to show them around sydney and i they both had a fantstic time.
After we left sydney dan and i went to the blue mountains for what was supposed to be 2 days but unfortunatlly the van broke down and we got stuck there for an extra couple of days. The weather was absolutly freezing the first few days we were sleeping in about 4 layers it was that cold! The weather did get better though and the last day we were there we went absailing and cannoyoning! it was the scarrist thing i have ever done the absailing was done cliffs ranging from 6meters tall to 30 meters tall and it was extreamly windy so you felt very precarous dangling so high up from a rope! Dan is scared of hights so he was more scared than i was but he did them all and he enjoyed him self. In the afternoon we went to cannoyoning this involved jumping into water pools, swimming and wading though water (lookerly wearing wet suits although they were that thick i felt like i couldn't move properly!) the climax was a 30 meter absail down a water fall. I wish we had vidioed me coming down as we would have made lots on you've been framed! i sliped at the top and was hanging with one leg still on the ledge and the rest of me haning upside down i then pritty much sliped (slowly) all the way down becasue the rock face was so slippy to top it off the waterfall is coming down so you feel like you are drowning i was very glad to get to the bottom!!! Dan who was terrified went down like a pro tippical!!!
After the blue mountains we went to jervis bay we stayed at a national par there right by the beach. it was the most beutiful beach i have been to white sand and pale blue water there was a long jetty at the other side of the bay which ment the waves were very gental and it was lovely to swim in. We spent easter week in another national park and spent easter sunday sat on the beach wear a pod of about 20 dolphins were playing in the surf so close to the waters edge it was trully amazing the whole beach stopped to watch!
We left there yesterday plan was to have a big drive and be well into victoria unfortunattly things did not go to plan and after about 50 k the gear box failled so we are stuck again for a couple of days getting it fixed. although the town we are in is actually very nice and we are greatfull it didn't happen when we were going up though the center! fingers crossed this will be it and it will be smooth running from now i on.
Thats about all for now i will try harder to keep the updates more regular!!
