Ok so quick update mainly so we could get Krabi on the map :) We took our early morning taxi to the airport in Hanoi and had a really straight forward easy two hour flight to Bangkok, we had looked into how we would then get down to Krabi and had decided that we would make our way to the bus station and wait aaaaall day long for the night bus, they only have night buses, however, when we asked how much a taxi was to the bus station we were quoted £25! and we ha...

So after our two night stay in Chiang Rai we caught the bus up to Chiang Khong which is the town on the boarder crossing into Loas. The bus was a little more rustic than the one we had before, but it was only 2 and a half hours and it goes through some stunning countryside so makes for a nice trip, and the fact that there were millions of pot holes near on the whole way meant we had to go slower and so less of a death ride and more of a tourist bus ride. Chiang Rai was our next stop, it took 3 and a half hours by bus from Chian Mai. It was like being on a rolla coster for the first hour or so, getting over the mountins on a new but very windey road with a bus driver that thought he was in a rally car!
