Monday 5th May - Paris We spent most of the day hopping on and off the open top buses taking in all the sites of Paris including walking along the Champs-Elysees and having coffee and pastries near the Arc de Triomphe - a pinch me moment for Kaye. We then went ot the top of the Eiffel Tower and stayed their until dark so we could see the lights of Paris - spectacular and breathtaking
Monday 5th May Explored Paris on top of a double decker bus while listening to French music and commentary on the sites. We saw Sacre Coue, and the sunset from the top of the Eiffel Tower and saw the tower light up from the buttom. Spent time watching the artists at work in Place de Terre
Sunday 6th May Spent the day walking our legs off at the amazing Palace of Versailles. Wandered around the spendourous sculptured gardens with French music playing and fountains flowing. We skipped the HUGE queues by doing a guided tour of the Palace which was interesting and the Palace was very grand - POSH Back in Paris we walked along Montmartre, had dinner in a side walk cafe watching the Parissians walking by. A great start to our time in Paris.
