We left Ravensthorpe and drove down to Hopetoun, which a beautiful stunning town compared to Bremner Bay. We chose to drive the coastal road which was compressed hard sandy stretches of road and checked out campsites along the way. Our night stopover was at a rest area near Stokes National Park with again heaps of flies.
The next morning we drove into Esperance had a look around and decided to go down to Cape LeGrand National Park. By the time we left Esperance time was slipping away from us, so we camped the night in a Tree Plantation. No flies.
Off to Cape LeGrand National Park the next morning, Lucky Bay was our first stop and the colour of the water and sand is just stunning. As they were doing major works to the camping area and surronds we decided not to stay there, as the machinery starts very early. We proceeded to other
beaches and did some walks before stopping the night at Cape LeGrand campground, again with a million flies and it was cold. So an early night inside watching movies.
Back to Esperance the next day and we did the tourist coastal drive, where we came across the most amazing beaches, the best we have seen throughout our whole trip. It was a sight to behold.
After leaving Esperance we stopped the night at the Gibson Soak Hotel and RV Park, we were going to have a counter meal but decided to eat in after seeng the menu. Meals averaged between $30 - $40 per meal, so instead Lorelle cooked up a lamb pie, left over from our lamb shanks from the previous night.YUM
