Spent 2 nights on the beautiful Gold Coast, oh how it's changed since I lived here. There's all new bypass roads and motorways and a tramline!!!! Wow the place has grown so much. Well we left Port Maquarie at 9am and travelled the Pacific Hwy through Coffs Harbour, we didn't stop at the Big Banana as there was no where to safely pull over. We continued on up the highway for another 20 mins and stopped for lunch in a rest area. Love having our own toilet on these occasions as the drop toilet could be smelled for miles. Pooh. Any way we decided we should have enough fuel to get to Ballina..... Ah Not. We just made it to Woodburn about 40 km...

This is the first entry of our Eggs Benedict around Oz. We ventured to Cedro's in Clarence St, Port Macquarie and had another awesome breakky. The staff were lovely , quick service and the eggs Benedict were perfect. We chased it down with a mocha coffee. Yum yum. Well rate this one as 4 stars

OMG have been experimenting with my oven and Weber BBQ. Have made a chocolate cake, roast veggies and beef in the van and tonight excelled with a sticky pork salad with roast pumpkin, beetroot and feta. I think this cooking on the road could be be amazing and should post on a travel show. So much better than the boys on those travel shows can do..... Go me.
