Been a while since I was there but will try and summarise the next leg of the MAMMOTHS whistle stop world tour! After being VERY ill for a few days I set off on my 24hr trip back to mainland Thailand! A 5hr boat journey later I was in Chumpon on the mainland where I waited for an overnight train that was headed for Bangkok. Had a little bunk surrounded by locals, was quite an experience! Had too get off in the middle of nowhere at a place called Nakon Pathom at 4am! Had no idea how to get too Kanachaburi! Next thing u know I'm on the back of a motorbike with my heavy bag pulling me backwards, clinging onto a little Thai guy for my dear life! Somehow got a 2hr bus too Kanachaburi arriving 7am! Very interesting! The attraction too Kanachaburi is the Bridge over river Kwai, turned into be one of the best days of my trip! Hired a bike out and cycled around this town all day looking at some of the Museums, the Bridge, the war cemetry's and a few temples! So cultured! Headed to bangkok early next morning where met up with Olly, Jules, SUPLER and Matt. Was so looking forward too the meet and it didnt dissapoint! Basically had 2-3 awesome days, seeing the sights and boozing at night! Some interesting Tuk tuk incidents and all night antics in Bangkok, an awesome way too finish off my thailand experience! Went out with 8 million Bangkok residnets too celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Kings tenure! Loas La Nigh L'wong! Huk Si Pee (Long Live the king, 60 Years!)
