Arrived in Methven, about an hour out of Christchurch late at night. Few hours sleep before heading up Mount Hutt for an awesome few days boarding...not a bad way to finish my trip! Little bit nervous as never boarded before, only skiid! Had a quick hr lesson and was well away! Awesome being back on the slopes! Top of his group on the 1st day, arrows! Feeling a lot more comfortable on a board than with skiis! Went from strength to strength the next day, went off on my own, was flying down some pretty hairy runs by the end! Don't get me wrong, im so battered and bruised at the moment i doubt i'll be able to stand up after writing this but it was well worth it! Watched the Rugby last night with a few beers, eagerly awaiting my last day boarding! Unfortunately the wind had really picked up and we couldn't get up there so i was a bit gutted! Headed back to Christchurch and spent the day exploring. Plans for tomorrow, lie in, go to the art gallery (culture!) then fly home!! So this will be the last update, unless there are any more drama's! Been an AMAZING trip, done so much, feels like years but at the same time, feels like i left the other day! Thailand was an unreal experience, Australia was so much fun and NZ is the most beautiful country on the face of the earth! So u could say I've enjoyed myself! I STRONGLY advise if you haven't done any of this and are jealous reading it...just do it!! Just make sure u do it at some point, you'll have NO regrets! Bon Jovi!
