A walking day again this time in Greenwich Village. After getting tickets for The Book of Mormon musical tonight we caught the subway downtown and meandered around the streets. Lots of eclectic shops, cafes and coffee shops particularly in the narrow leafy side streets. Lunch at a little "beer bar" in Bleecker Street which had about 30 beers on tap from all over the world.
Then back to midtown for a bit of shoe shopping, afternoon rest and now off to the theatre.
The Book of Mormon was "unbelievable". A comedy send up where 2 newly trained Mormons are sent to a remote Ugandan village to spread gods word - hilarious, irreverent and spectacular. The theatre we have seen on Broadway has been amazing.
Late dinner at a little Thai restaurant on the way back from the theatre then to sleep
Transit day tomorrow as we leave wonderful New York and fly to San Juan in Puerto Rico for a couple of days then on the caribbean cruise. Will certainly be a change of pace!!
