Ok, so the plan was Karpenisi through Lamia for some more hiking in what was supposedly Greece's 'Swiss Alps' town. Bull. Got there, turned right around. It was basically a very small s***ty looking bad part of town Edmonton. Ok, so beautiful surroundings and probably some gorgeous hikes...I still wasn't staying there. So back to Lamia, through to Trikala, on to Kalambaka and Meteora. Still on the last leg of the bus as I write this so I'll get in at about 9, and then on to tracking down the recommended hotel.

Well I may just have to stay here a night longer than I planned. Gorgeous room for a decent price and from what I can see in the dark, a very interesting place. We'll see in the daylight I guess.
