So we're heading north for Litohoro and Mt. Olympus. I decided to skip the Zagorohoria as much as it would be a cool sight. Its just a little too far out of the way for a stone village and a hike. Raining hard today here in Meteora, so here's hoping I manage to out run the rain because I am not hardcore enough to want to hike Mt. Olympus in this weather!

Ok, Meteora? Pretty gorgeous. And it is amazing that those monasteries were built on those cliff structures, talk about a feat of engineering! Pretty much covered the whole town and surrounding area today though so now I have to decide what I'm doing tomorrow. Right now I'm torn between just doing Mount Olympus and then carrying on to Thessoloniki, or making a major side trip to the Zagorohoria and ending up in the far flung village of Konitsa... I really have no...

Ok, so the plan was Karpenisi through Lamia for some more hiking in what was supposedly Greece's 'Swiss Alps' town. Bull. Got there, turned right around. It was basically a very small s***ty looking bad part of town Edmonton. Ok, so beautiful surroundings and probably some gorgeous hikes...I still wasn't staying there. So back to Lamia, through to Trikala, on to Kalambaka and Meteora. Still on the last leg of the bus as I write this so I'll get in at about 9, and...
