Alrite everyone, just got back to base camp in Hanoi I been to Sapa for the week been banging took loads of photies! We done the overnight train on the Sunday where we dint get much sleep then was there at 6 in the mornin we was all awake by 5 so was in the corridor of the carriage watchin the sun come up over the river we was goin by and you could see all the family's preparing their fruit and veg to sell, they work till near midnight and get up around 4 they don't stop the poor b******s. The carriage is tight so it's a struggle when people walk past you gotta tip toe and breath in and squeeze by, and there was this old Vietnamese bird well in her 50's that worked on the train sellin drinks and when she came by she had a good old grope of ya ass haha I thort I was imagining it at first but then there was 3 of us lads up lookin out the window and she came back and did the same only this time she had one hand rub paste ya waist and a proper feel of ya jacksy, all 3 of us pulled our heads back in from the window looked at each other and was like Jesus did she just do that haha we rolled up, one of the geezers shouted woah love thanks for the prostate examination and she just looked back and smiled the dirty old minx haha we was in stitches! The first night in Sapa we was right up in the mountains in a hotel, we had a cushty little place in the clouds with a decent bar and pool table so we had a bit of a sesh that night then the next two nights we done a homestay with the daizy family in a village in the valley of the mountains it was a crease up we had a big dorm so we had a right larf at bedtime was like bein back at school! We done a 10k trek on one of the days which was mental some of the rocks and paths we had to cross were lethal but there was little village kids that come with you to show you the best routes so we thort if they can do it then we should be ok ha. There was this one girl called Mia she was a legend she was only 6 she was the boss of the kids. Sapa is just full of rice fields it's clever how they make them they do it in levels so that the top field feeds water to the field below and they can have loads of levels that all get drink it looks quality everything looks green. They had these birds when trekkin that land on you their wild birds but they're tame and one tried to land on my back but I had no Tshirt on and it flew up from behind and clawed my back and I crapped meself and jumped and he flew away I was gutted I wanted one to land on me all day but I blew it ha. In the afternoons we went down to the river and chilled out on the rocks and had a swim was a decent spot then in the evenins we went to a bar which was more of a shack but was quality they had cold beers, YouTube for tunes and pool and darts and the veiw from the place was superb! When we got the night train back from Sapa we was on the beers from the afternoon and the train dint leave till 7 so we was half way there already and by 9 they ran out of beers as were a group of 23 so they stopped the train to get more beers for us haha was crazy only in Vietnam! We was sat down by the lake the other day and this nam bird comes up to me and says she's learning English and wants to ask me a few questions if I have a spare minute, I thort to be fair I prob ain't the best to learn ya English from but said yeah crack on, next minute her mate pulls out a dictaphone and she pulls out a pen and notepad! She was chewing my ear off for 40 minutes I kept tryin to end the conversation but she kept askin all these questions like what I do for a job when was I born how many people live in southampton whose gonna be king next etc and I had to write all this cheese down for her, major head ache at the end no joke! Were off to Halong bay on Monday lookin forwards to that it looks cushty! Only 7 days left for me now it's almost over so makin the most of the fun while it lasts! Laters guitar hero
