After the bright lights of San Francisco we headed for the more tranquil setting of Yosemite National Park. We were slightly delayed (by 3hours!!!) by the incompetent car rental place, where we joined forces with some fellow Brits to complain en-masse! Reached San Francisco, the first stop in our world tour! Contrary to what we were told, Frisco weather was beautiful and hot...yesterday. Today, on the other hand was thundery and rainy. Made the most of the weather yesterday by visiting most of Frisco's sights, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate park and doing an open top bus tour.
