So this looks like it's to be the final blog entry while in NZ unless I find a computer at the airport.
On Tuesday I went to Christchurch with Jaime and her parents because she had an appointment with her surgeon and Maurice and Rowena were shopping for french doors. Jaime and I went to her friend Kendyl's flat at the University halls in t…

Just arrived back from the airport with Josh - who looks tired and hairy! His flight was only 10 minutes late but he was through with his bags in 20 minutes. He surprised us with a tap on the shoulder while we were queueing for a coffee, expecting a long wait!
It's great to have him safely home and we're really looking forward to picking you up on Saturday Beth. Can't wait.

Mum
Great to read your latest blog Beth. We enjoy rreading them so much.
By now Josh will have left to go up to ChCh prior to flying home on Wednesday. Can't wait to have you both back here. Sarah, Adam and Ivy are coming up on Thursday as they have a wedding on Saturday so I'm babysitting for the day (you will be able to help me, although will probably be jet-lagged and sleeping!). It will give Ivy a chance to get used to me again. Tom is coming over on Saturday evening too, so we'll all be together on Sunday which will be lovely.
I'll phone you on Thursday for a chat before you leave for the airport!

Nice bit of carving Josh. I'm guessing it's 'Mousie Brown'!! Looking forward to seeing it for real.
Looking forward to you getting home. Hope the journey is good.

Sounds as if you had fun in Christchurch with Ashleigh. Hope things are going OK for her back home.
Glad you enjoyed you prom Beth and look forward to seeing some pics. Fancy winning the waltz - would love to have seen it. Maybe you will try to keep it up when you get home. Perhaps start something at school?
Carving looks really good Josh - must have taken hours. You obviously have a talent for it. Well done.

Hello Beth and Josh
Just been looking at your website which your Mum gave me. I have seen the lovely photos and am just getting over the headache looking at the bunjee jumping gave me!!!! Really though I was most impressed - you are so brave, but it must be a wonderful experience once you have the nerve to do it.
Your photos are lovely, especially the ones taken at night - some really good pics there. There were one or two places I think I recognised too from being there some years ago. New Zealand is a beautiful place and you appear to be having a great time. Your Dad tells me you are due back end of August. Your Mum & Dad are planning to come to Leeds week after next so it will be lovely to see them. Look forward to seeing you both, and Rosie as well some time. Please say hello to Maureen (Nan) for me and I look forward to seeing her when she comes back to live - that will be wonderful for you all to have her close again. Now I'm going to go on her website and look at her new house!
Take care and keep on having fun.
Lots of love from Helen and George
Ashleigh

Beth
Okay, so I'm starting to lose my patience with the site after deleting a blog entry twice! Each time I try and write one (the same one I might add!) it disappears and goes to the page before. So I think it's time to bust out Word and save it before anything disasterous happens so that I can go back to it.
I will try and get the new blog up before this evening (your time - gives me longer :P)
Hope all is well
Beth xx
Beth and Josh
Hi everybody!
Glad you're enjoying the site (although some not as much as they used to... cough Rosie cough :P)
Really happy to hear about Ivy, she's going to have changed so much by the time we get back, this being testament to it. Thanks for the compliment about my blogs too, it's always nice to hear good feedback.
Fidget sounds like a riot, have you got any more photos of the little tyke? And I'm glad the move in went well. Decorated any rooms yet?
We hope everyone is okay, and missing us lots :D we miss you, well I know the I do (Beth if you hadn't guessed! :P)
Lots of Love

Great new update Beth and we enjoyed Josh's photos too. Really glad Sam at last got his visa, especially as one of the main news stories today is about NZ refusing to give or renew visas because of the lack of jobs for Kiwis.
Biscuits look good Josh! Will look forward to hearing you sing and play the guitar for us when you get back.
Hope you both manage to get down to Queenstown for your jumps!
adam, sarah & ivy

hope nan's journey back was ok. i'll send her an email in the next few days and send some photos of ivy - she's been sitting up by herself and rolling over by herself too - hooray!!
