Headed out this morning at 7:30 and went to boulder. Boulder is a college town with lots going on. Ended up taking a wrong road while turning around, but decided to explore it. Ended up driving up a moutain and parked the truck and went for a short hike for an unbelieveable view. Satisfied aleady with just that one look.
Later drove to Keystone, the first mountain to check out and then to copper and breckenridge and vail. Keystone and Breckenridge are top choices, great little cummunities to live in, however they are so very into tourism that living is going to be hard to find. Some say the cheapest place I can find now is $1200 a month(that is not going to work), but if i get lucky might be able to rent a room of someones house for $600...Denver is about an hour from here and that is really the next liveable town with things and people around.
Road through a cool loooong tunnel through a mountain today, i guess it is easy to go through them then over them.
Mac Trucks get stuck going up hills even with chains, and this storm was not even that bad.
People were skiing on all the moutains i saw today and there is plenty of snow being made and plenty of fresh snow as well.
