well we finally arrived in New Zealand!!! And what a first couple of days it has been! Arrived in Aukland and actually realised that it isn't a partciuallrly exciting city! Though we had our own personal tour guides and that was pretty cool! Set eyes on one of the actiove volcanoes close to the city (though didnt walk it obviously!)

The sea here feels liek -20 in comparison to Fiji but its refreshing all the same! so after a couple of days int he city, our Kiwi experience began.... our first stop, the Bay of Islands. And despite it being a 3 hour journey north of Aukland, it was well worth it! whilst on the bus, we decided to bite the bullet ad sign ourselves up for a 16,000ft sky dive! Yup, just an everyday thing to do is jumpibng out of a plane! So that afternoon, 8 of us threw ourselves out of the tinniest plane ever! my main fear.... the flipping flight up there! not jumping out the sodding plane no no no.... but actually flying to the 16,000ft!!! Despite this, it was TOTALLY worth it!! the views were flipping fantastic (though my instructyor did shout f*** as we had jumped out and then informed me that we were 'miles away from where we needed to land!!!' bloody brilliant!)

So we are totally hoping to do this again in the south island or possibly even Oz as it was a totally amazing experience and well worth the pennies.... photos to follow!!! It was decided that a night of becverages was well deserved after this!

the following day involved a walk in the forest, 90 mile beach, sand surfing and ice creams (the best bit obviously being the sand surfing and ice cream!!) we cant quite believe how much like home it is here! If it wasnt for the heat, we would think we were in Kernow!

Further drinks were desereved after that and after finally deciding on where to eat, Vic won a 2 4 1 parasailing trip, though as we were leaving the next day, we didnt get to take adavantage of this! However, as one of the otehrs girls won a 2 4 1 bungey jump, we all stupidly agreed to meet up later in the month and all do a bungey togetehr! AM I MENTAL????!! sO yeah that has so far been NZ... and it is only day 3! hahaha.

Tomorrow we are off to hot water beach where we can make our own spring pools so we will update you later in the week...... xx
