So we were happy to leave the bus behind after another 4 hrs... Our boat was huge, well especially considering there was only 13 of us..There were around 5 members of staff too. So we cruised out into the bay looking at the beautiful scenery..the captain even let Bex steer for a while.. we were slightly nerved by that as there are many small row boats around with women that sell goodies to you. We stopped to see the 'Surprise caves' ..a million steps later we agreed it was worth the climb. They were beautiful and called the surprise caves as there are many parts that resemble animals and even one huge shock when the guide pointed out something that definately looked like a male body part! He thought it was hilarious to see our reaction..hahahaha
So back on the boat we were off to achor down by an oyster farm where no other boats would be..We put our bikinis on and jumped in! It wasnt that cold but it definately wasnt "like a warm swimming pool" thanks Renee! Mo was sightly nervous and made very good use of the bright orange lifesaver ring.
We had some dinner whilst cruising to where we would anchor down for the night. The food was good and there was lots of it.. stayed up chatting and sneaking the remainder of our bundy rum from Vientiane into our cokes.
By 9am the cruise was over and we were back on dry land for guess what.... another long bus ride to Hanoi. Oh and for the record: give us a greyhound anyday.(never thought we would say that!)
