With the wedding over and most of our guests heading out of town, we took a much needed break to visit the "Pinball Hall of Fame". This magnificent place is a large building filled with wall-to-wall pinball machines, and arcade games from long past to the here and now. All the pinging, buzzing, dinging, shooting, throwing, driving action you could want under one roof! It was glorious.
For lunch we tried Del Taco since we don't have them anywhere close by. The verdict: they suck. Taco Bell is much better.
Later in the day, we went to the strip and saw many Elvi, and other sights for which Vegas is famous.
We had dinner with Colin's parents and sister at Café Belagio. We had a great seat, looking out onto the multi-colored gardens at the Belagio while we dined. After dinner we took a few turns at the Roulette wheel, and lost… One of Colin's sisters told us to bet on 29, but Colin wanted to bet on a color instead. We bet on black both times and lost. The second time, however, the wheel stopped on 29! Can you believe it! To console ourselves, we watched the dancing fountains in front of the Belagio as they danced to a song from "A Chorus Line"… five, six, seven, eight…. Then it was time to drop Colin's sister off at McCarren airport, and head back to the Green Valley Ranch for the night.
