Today was a nice day. we woke up at around 9.30am we were planning to leave at 10am but you know what its like...we didnt leave until about 1120. it took about an hour to get to the falls. we parked the car then walked along the path overlooking the falls. we took a lot of photos. In front of the big falls it was so cold!!! the mist was amazing, it was like it was raining even across the road!

after walking along the falls we headed to the main strip...there were lots of fast food places and places for kids to play and soooooo much to do...i wish we hadve spent 2 days there, i think it wouldve been fun to go into some of the places that we didnt have time for. we went and had burger king for lunch, then we headed across the street to the Ripleys Believe It or Not! museum...we had a blast in there and there were so many disgusting/interesting/funny things to look at. like the fattest man, the tallest man, a buddah made of more than 3 million us dollars shredded! we rubbed his tummy and it paid off...but more about that later :P

in the museum there was also this room you had to walk through...there was a platform straight from one side to the other but around it the walls were spinning like you were in a tunnel. it was dark in there too with only a few spots of black light...it was sooooo funny to watch people go across, u walk in and its fine, but then you immediately get dizzy and fall to one side and have to drag yourself across using the rail lol. we went in a second time cuz it was just so funny!

anwyay enough about that!! it was very entertaining and was much bigger than i thought it was. once we came out we (me neil and teddy, neils uncle) decided to find the casino. neils mum didnt come because she had to take care of jade. she is obviously not old enough to come in lol. anyway we went in and it was so different. the machines were all weird...i got about $20 worth of quarters and most of the machines i like didnt take quarters...so i ended up just blowing it in weird machines and not winning a cent!! we decided to go and change neils money into notes so we could play the machines we like...so neil gave me 5 and i wandered off...i tried to play a machine but it wouldnt take my money so i went to the one next door to it...and lucky i did because it went bezerk and i won 90 dollars! i took it straight away and showed neil. we cashed in the ticket and as we were going to leave we saw another one we liked so we put a $20 in it just to see. we ended up just sitting there betting max for the hell of it, but it payed off, we pulled out 46 :D i say thanks to the buddah, we had a great day, we were only in there for about an hour. and half of that time we were walking around bamboozled by everything.

we walked back to where we arranged to meet jade and julette, then we walked back the way we came, by the falls and took some more photos because the sun had come out a little more...it was only about 3c when we arrived i think! we made it to the car and drove home and here we are now telling you all about it! what a day!

we were supposed to be going out tonight but we havent heard anything from anyone so i guess we will get some sleep and do some stuff early tomorrow. neil still has a few friends left to see. and i still need a few last things shopping...i definitely need a raptors shirt for tomorrow night!! im so excited to finally go to a game!! ill try to bring something back for you robbie. im sure there will be merchandise there.

anyway the photos have been updated so it would be great to hear from you all! we are nearly at the end...i cant believe it! i dont wanna go back to wooooooooork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh well thats life i guess. get back to reality and my cat, i miss her so much! ill update this before we leave...
