wow, what a day! today we ventured out to the CN tower at about 330pm :) it was absolutely amazing, probably the best day we have had since being in toronto. first thing we have actually done i guess lol. we walked through the sky walk and made our way to the tower, we were a bit disappointed though cuz when we got there we realised we had forgotten the video camera! :(

Eric, a chef in the restaurant who Neil knows brought us down our tickets. we then went up to the first observation deck...wow it was high, and going up in the lift you can see out as you go up...mum i thought of you going up and said to myself you would never ever EVER do this!!!!! im glad i can say ive gone up now though. we reached the observation deck and looked around for a while, neil started feeling a bit sick so we sat down and had something to eat in the Horizon cafe...after that we went and saw the glass floor...i was too scared to stand on it but later plucked up the courage after reading that it was built to hold the weight of 14 large hippos...realising that i am just one of those hippos i should be fine lol. neil lay down on it but i wasnt THAT brave!!

anyway after the glass floor we worked our way up to the sky pod...which is about another 100 meters up the tower...it was very high and neil didnt feel so comfortable being up there so we didnt stay there too long...we took all the photos we could and went back down to the first observation deck...

i walked around there reading the information on the walls and the funniest thing happened! i turned around to see neil being mobbed by a group of women wanting to take photos with him....i stood and watched and laughed...one of the girls realised who i was and apologised to me...i just couldnt stop laughing, apparently they thought he looked like 50 cent (the rapper for those who dont know) hahahaha funny right? i dont know where they were from...bloody tourists hey!

anyway after that we went downstairs and found the simulator ride...which was HILARIOUS!!! i was crying of laughter the whole time, while being thrown around and eaten by crocodiles and splashed with water lol. i wanted to go again!!! then we went and watched a movie on the making of the tower...very interesting. it was 30 years ago last year that it was finished. after that movie we went and bought some souveniers. nothing special but a few little things. they had a photo package which we bought. so yeah it was a great day at the tower!

we left and walked around the city for a while. i stopped and had a starbucks...i might have to open one in darwin, im gonna miss it. its terrible for me though i know!!! oh well. gotta spoil yourself sometimes right?

so we walked and walked taking lots of photos of the city. we finally made it home at about 830pm! boy are my feet tired! ill have to talk neil into massaging them.......yeah right! now we are just at home watching the basketball game on tv :( we were supposed to go but couldnt get tickets. next time we come im gonna buy them months in advance. we couldve gone but it wouldve been really really bad seats! they wouldve cost alot more than they were worth too!

so tomorrow we dont have much planned...we are going to niagara on saturday and then on sat night we will go out with andre, neils cousin...but anyway ill keep you all posted. better go upload the photos!
