Hey ya'll! As you may have seen already from the pictures, we rented bikes (extremely popular form of transportation in Amsterdam) today and followed the Amstel river out of the city. We wanted to see some of the countryside and this was recommended by our tour guide yesterday. Today we took a 3 hour tour through Amsterdam, learning about the history and culture. It was a lot of fun and very educational. The culture is very laid back, and has really always been that way. Hey everyone! We made it to Amsterdam today after a little confusion understanding the Dutch language. We took a bit of a detour to Rotterdam, but it allowed us to see a lot of the beautiful countryside. Our hostel here is pretty cool, very laid back. London was a lot of fun!
