Florence! What a beautiful city! A city of Tuscany that isn't built on hills. The duomo (cathedral) every major Italian city has one, but his one was freakin awesome! The pure vastness of it astonished me not to mention the ancient and remarkable artwork inside.
ts apparently the shopping center of Italy and considered a New York second only to Roma. We checked a few store , high end fashion (justfor the fun of it), the leather market, and a free museum. The museum that has the David was open but there was line and it cost money, next time I will definetly go.
Then there was the Duomo (cathedral) every major Italian city has one, usually in the center of the city, but this one was freaking awesome. The pure vastness of it astonished me not to mention the ancient and remarkable artwork inside.
Unfortunately us Americans have Mcdonalds everywhere you turn, Italy has Pizzeria or Gelatia everywhere you tun. The Gelato is essential for a day in Florence because the city's roads are made of complete asphalt. The weather channel at home said that the temperature would be in the 70s but apparently the weather channel enjoys misguiding us becaue it was actually in its 70's.
