O arrived in Luang Prabang this morning, and got in the back of a pick up truck 'limousine' to the town where i found a lovely little family run hostel for $5 a night. they started me off with a few words in Lao, as many people don't speak english here. however french is pretty widespread which is lucky as my Lao is terrible! ...
