Hi everyone!

just a message to say i have changed my plans a little for the last week, and decided to spend the rest of my time in Laos!

O arrived in Luang Prabang this morning, and got in the back of a pick up truck 'limousine' to the town where i found a lovely little family run hostel for $5 a night. they started me off with a few words in Lao, as many people don't speak english here. however french is pretty widespread which is lucky as my Lao is terrible! :)

I am seeing some Wats and the museum today, then spending sunset on top of the mountain where there is a temple. tomorrow i'm hoping to do a tour involving some mix of trekking, kayaking, waterfalls or elephants...yay!

Can't believe i've only got a week left, but i still need to survive the tubing in Vang Vieng (my next stop on Wednesday)!
