Hi from Port Douglas.

We've now made it from Byron Bay up to Noosa, then on to Airlie Beach where we sailed around the Whitsundays, stopped off at quiet Mission Beach & not-so-quiet Cairns...and finally got here.

Yesterday I went on a guided tour to the Daintree rainforest, Cape Tribulation and nearby Mossman Gorge. It was my favourite day in Australia! We had a great guide and I learnt lots.

Have just returned from a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef where we saw some beautiful underwater creatures - a sea turtle was the highlight!

Tomorrow we return to Cairns and will be flying on to Singapore on Saturday.
