Hi all

Now in Byron Bay, not far south of Brisbane, after a 12hr bus journey from Sydney. Today we fell asleep on the beach, and later walked up to a point where we tried to spot some whales. No luck but we saw some dolphins. Will try again tomorrow!

Tomorrow pm we head for Brisbane for the day, and then onto a place a bit further north called Noosa, and then again further north next week when we'll be sailing round the Whitsundays. It's a hard life.
