Today is Market day at Anjuna and as there is no afternoon yoga class today we (me, Sarah and Anna) decided to take off for the day. Me with my Immodium and bottle of water in hand. Today was Arombol. A small town north of Ashvem, where I'm staying, which is where, it would appear, all of the westerners are in this area. Sarah and I walked along the shoreline for over an hour to get there and whilst it was a nice (hate that word) thing to do, I'm not sure it was worth the walk. The highlights of today were definitely the two yoga classes. As I said, the shala is beautiful and it has a wonderful energy about it. The floor, BTW, is Eco friendly compacted cow dung, not mud. Well the question of toilets is sorted. Western all the way. In the airport you had a choice. Not really a tough one to call. At Leela Cottages it's western. Wagamama now holds the same familiarity for me as Starbucks once did a few years ago.
