Second blog of the day.. Location.. Oman airport..defo feels like we're slap bang in the middle of the dessert! This was the day I was least looking forward to.. 9am in the morning til 8pm at night stuck in an airport!! Well to be totally honest it hasn't been that bad.. Came straight through to departures with no kafufle.. Found some mega comfy chairs.. Like leather sun loungers.. Right infront of a window facing the runway so I've seen lots of landings and take offs!! Caught up on some much needed sleep for like 3 hours occasionally getting woken by screaming and crying kids... God only knows why they would build a big play area right behind the area where people mainly go to sleep!!.. I've had to grind my teeth and watch my mouth a few times..think my evil glances at the parents that say "sort your children out" pretty much worked!!.. After the occasional outbursts of screams and tantrums come to an end we get the misfortune of being sat next to omans version of "the chav".. The type that sit on back seats of buses n play their music outloud on their latest steal of a Sony Ericsson!!.. Goodness knows why people don't just buy headphones!! By the sound of this music I was half expecting a cobra to appear out of a little wicker basket n then for them to suddenly fall to their knees and break out in prayer!!
Played my first ever game of scrabble... I lost haha.. Passed a good hour away tho so not complaining too much!!
Almost 6pm here! Still 2 hours to go before our next 6 hour flight.. Planning on what film I can watch this time!
