Claire O'Bs Adventure
Hiya, in to my last week in Thailand now. It has gone so quickly! I have just looked over what I have written in past entries, I can’t believe that I thought I was going to be glad to leave Thailand originally. My opinions have changed a lot in 3 weeks and now I reckon I’m going to be really sorry to leave! My journal entries are a little higgledy piggledy with regards to the order that things have happened, I’m trying to write them as best I can so that you all understand what’s going on! I really wish I had better internet access, because I’m missing out so many good stories. This week Pe Art the principle of the school has taken us to dinner with her family. That was really nice, we are being so well looked after. When it was the Kings Birthday last week she picked us up from our bungalows at 6am and took us into Chumpon to take food to the monks. That was an experience. I will put up some pictures of that! This week she has also taken us to see a famous temple and Buddhist garden, and also to see some natural caves that thousands of years ago where under water, and during the time when Thailand where fighting with Burma, many Thai people lived in the caves! They were amazing! The school is great. I have my favourite class now. It’s Grade 4. Their main teacher is who was introduced to us as the English teacher. At first I thought she was hopeless but now I have come to realise that she is really good if you write things down for her, its just the accents that she doesn’t understand. She actually understands Dana, the American girl best. Anyway her class have definitely benefited from having her as their teacher, they are really bright!I will probably update once more before I leave Thailand, with a final summary so keep posted. Thanks again for checking on my progress! Love Claire x
