In Buenos Aires at the moment and intending to stay for another couple of days to see the sights. So far I have seen the Pink House (Casa Rosada), where the president and executive government go around their daily business, and once upon a time, Evita and President Juan Domingo Peron famously gave speeches from its balcony. Today we went to the Recoleta Neighbourhood which was pretty nice. Lots of riches and prized dogs. We saw the famous church and the massive Recoleta Cemetery which houses millions of tombs of the wealthy and important including Evita herself. Had the best steak of my life last night, I have never had meat like it, so good. Acompanied with an amazing house. An the best thing was that it cost about less than 9pounds. I know I splashed out but when in Argentina you have to dine like them and live long.
Tomorrow we might head outside of the city to a small holiday village called Tigre to see a bit of life outside of the city. Then will maybe go on Sunday or Monday to Mendoza which makes some of South America´s wines. Bring on the wine tasting.
