Hi.

Well i have gotten over the fear of eating anything i do not reconize and food from black little kitchens.

The weather is really hot 37degrees and only a few degrees cooler at night. I have met my group. Most are from Alberta and BC. We have been working out in the peaceful childrens homes. When we have seen all the children, they let the villagers come in.An average day 70 cleanings between3 hygeinists.90 extractions and 50 fillings. with 4 dentists and a little extra help from me.The people are really beautiful , lots of laughter, todate honest, ( always give you the right change) living with next to nothing in wooden shacks making ends meet.Last night they put on a traditonal dance for us. They even had the young adults with missing limbs take part. Costunes bright and lots of gold. I will have to learn to dance on one foot and bend my fingers back.

Our living area is very rustic in the Roman Catholic compound. we are on the floor with nets. open tanks of water to dip a pail in to wash. hole in the floor for a loo. We do have three of them for 16 women of western life styles.

Eating a ton of rice( the children only get special treats when people donate or stay with them) dishes with funny things you cann,t reconize floating a round in a great coconut and curry broth.

Our days are long and we have just escaped to let the world know we are stil alive.
