Today I woke up with the weather raining and thunder and lightening, was I in Spain or Scotland! We carried out the English class inside and had to prepare the lunch. I had to shred the leftover chicken from yesterday's lunch and the daughter made a salad, we got on really well working away in the kitchen speaking English. We also had gazpacho a typical Spanish drink/soup... Cold. It was interesting but I just drank really fast to get it out the way. My friend from trek America was flying out to see me today and I was planning on going to meet him in Malaga tomorrow, however luckily the mother said I could go tonight and stay for the weekend, I was delighted! I quickly got packed and got ready and made my way to the bus station to catch my bus. Whilst waiting I spoke to two girls one from Poland and one from Ireland who had been studying in an international school for 5-7 years it was interesting hearing their accents as they sounded English! It also turned out one of them was waiting to hear about their exam results to go to Glasgow uni, I only imagined why you would want to leave this beautiful country to go to Spain. I met my friend at the bus station and we made our 40 minute walk to the apartment being met by the typical 'any spare change' in exchange for 'do you smoke weed' always the same! I arrived in the apartment with the air con blasting it was exactly what I needed and the perfect end to an unexpected day.
