Went to wat pho this afternoon. It is the oldest temple in Thailand and has a giant reclining Buddha. Just his smile is 5 meters wide. And there were 108 bowls alongside him - and you have to drop a coin in each one (well, you don't have to - but then you wouldn't be lucky and have a long life). The noise everyone throwing the coins in the metal bowls added to the experience of walking around the massive Buddha.

Weather became a bit overcast -but was still hot and humid, so have headed back to the hotel to cool down for a bit. I can also get some shorts on, as I don't have to wear trousers anywhere else I don't think - am a bit templed out for today.
