The weather forecast for today was 24 degrees and sunny. Mira phoned a friend who has a good knowledge of places to visit. So we headed for the hills. Amden was our destination. Another road trip. I'm feeling much better today. We headed off for Basel up north near the French and German border on the Rhine. Last night was interesting - I had the runs, as a result a restless night. Upon waking in the morning I heaved out my stomach contents. I spent most of the day on the couch with little to no energy & NO will to eat for fear of more runs, etc. John finished reading his book & than walked to Thalwil a few kilometres alongside the Zurich See.

Another day full of too much moisture in the atmosphere. Today I sat and watched a Utube film titled Lost Childhood. It was about the children who were taken from war torn Bosnia during 1941 - 42. It was extremely sad. My uncle who was sent to Zagreb along with my mother with about 800 children in 1942 was in the film recalling his and my mother's experience. Woke up to rain - it rained all night. About 3pm the sky had cleared & the road had dried, so off to see a few things around Zurich. We walked around the city & climbed up to the 'verandah' on one of towers of the Grossmunster, a reformed Evangelistic church in the centre of Zurich - amazing.
