We headed out of Gerlos after a hearty breakfast and stopped at Hall. At first glance it seemed to be just another city. Upon closer inspection we found the old part of Hall to be quite charming with narrow lanes, building in a range of pastel colours and a small market in the square. We stopped at a quaint little café & enjoyed a great coffee. Afterwards we took in more of the old buildings and came upon a Bio street exhibit of foods and wares as well as a brass Austrian band playing traditional music.
Our next stop was Innsbruck. Here again we walked through the old part of town and took in the sounds and sights. We both had a laugh when we found out the Inns River runs through Innsbruck.
One of the most amazing things we saw was a small one way street where that traffic passed through from the bridge. We watched cars travel into the narrow street and then watched in horror as a full sized bus entered the street without any concern.
Before leaving Innsbruck we had to visit the Olympic site of the bobsled track - it was much higher than we expected.
After lunch we worked out that we were about 4 hours away from Zurich so we headed off to Mira's place so that together we could plan a few nights away together before we headed of home.
