So this morning Carl and I were going to try our luck at a dive. Our first one in the Med and the first one in about 5 years. I think the last time was Mauritius which was our 5 year anniversary.

Logan and Jordan went to the kids club. It broke my heart leaving him cause he was crying. I knew I needed to do it for myself and so that Carl and I could have some time for ourselves.

We head for the Padi dive centre, situated on sight. We got briefed, kitted up and head out. It was like a private dive as it was just Carl and I as the season is only just getting going.

We had great viz, 25 meters. The water was cold around 17 degrees but we managed to enjoy a 45 min dive. The dive was a bit boring from a scenery point of view. They've tried to sink a few things like a car, lounger chairs. Play station 2, tires. It's managed to attract some sea life but there is no coral and major sea life. The Med is a great place to do chill diving or build your confidence as there are no rip tides or currents. On this dive the sea was flat enough to float lit candles. My kind of diving.

Carl and I enjoyed it none the less. It was our time, that's what mattered.

We enjoyed the rest of the day with the kids around the pool. Logan enjoyed sliding down the tube over and over again.

Her little body shivered but it was no deterant for her to call it quits.
