Another early morning - Adrenaline Day!
Checked in for our bridge swing and waited for what seemed like an eternity, a 40 minute drive & we were there. We had chosen the biggest swing in the world; Nevis, a 70m drop and 300m arc. We were first out across the wobbly bridge, that was scary enough on its own. I opted to go first, I figured that would be the least terrifying. It's fine when you get out there, you are always hooked up to one device. You sit in your harness, you step off & there you dangle. A few photos, any last words and bang you drop! Although the initial drop is scary it's actually fine - it's a big swing & a long way down but amazing! G next, he went off backwards, silly boy, then Richard & Sophie together - lots of screaming & shouting from all of us! G went for a second run, forwards this time. We travelled back & went straight out on our jet boat ride. The boat spins and swirls across the water, very close to the rocks, 360 degree spins - we were up front next to the driver & came back very soggy but happy!
An early supper at Fergburger, a local institution. Probably the best burger I have ever eaten. Queues out of the door - the only branch in the world but worth the wait!
To Milford Sound tomorrow for a nature cruise - excited!
