So today is my first full day in Hanoi. Last night Jools took me out on the scooter to see quite a bit of the city , including the lakes, the presidential building, Uncle Ho's mausoleum, the temple of literature and quite a few other places. Had an amazing burger for dinner sat on the pavement outside the restaurant, and not to forget the super fine garlic potato tapas style starter, that was really awesome!! Jools is off to work today and I am trying to acclimatise and nurse the sore throat I have!! Will be heading out later to get myself a helmet for being out on the scooter, very exciting!!
